IT MANAGED SERVICES, EMPLOYMENT/IT SERVICES

PURPOSE AND BACKGROUND

The purpose of the Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals for an IT Managed Services and IT Managed Security Services Provider, collectively referred to as MSP, that will work cooperatively in a partial or fully co-managed relationship with the City of McCleary’s internal IT person.

The City of McCleary has the following objectives for the service and seeks a partner with expertise in the following:

• Infrastructure Monitoring and Response
• Ticketing with Rapid / Timely End-User Response
• Strong Cybersecurity and Threat Monitoring, Alerting, Response, and Remediation Expertise
•  Data Backup and Disaster Recovery Solution
• Microsoft 365 Expertise
•  Reporting and Periodic Meetings

Contract term:

Following negotiation, the successful proposer will be asked to enter a contract with City of McCleary. The length of the contract is proposed to be 2 years, renewable to a maximum of 4 years.

Notices:

The City reserves the right to change any aspect of, terminate, or delay this RFP, the RFP process, and/or the program which is outlined within this RFP at any time, and notice shall be given in a timely manner thereafter. Recipients of this RFP are advised that nothing stated herein, or any part thereof, or any communication during the evaluation and selection process, shall be construed as constituting, offering, or awarding a contract, representation, or agreement of any kind between the City and any other party.

Responses to this RFP will become the property of the City, and will form the basis of negotiations of an agreement between the City and the apparent successful Submitter.
