Public Notice

Effective February 1, 2021: Washington State will adopt the 2018 model codes effective February 1, 2021. The codes will include the IBC, IRC, IFC, IMC, UPC and the Washington State Energy Code with Washington State amendments.

All building permit applications submitted after this date will need to be in compliance with the new codes.

Building Department

The Building Department provides various types of assistance to anyone building in the city. All applications for land use changes and construction are received by this division of Public Works.

Inspections will be conducted every Tuesday

The City of McCleary Planning Department is the starting point for many projects in the City.
